Goals for 2010, if elected:
- Keeping the club healthy and growing in tight economic times is a must and will take some creativity, but is where the SCR has been headed in the past years and I hope to help build on that goal.
- Finding sites for events is a critical task that will take committed volunteers and business connections. I hope to assist in that role in the Charleston Area.
- As the state economy recovers, we need to mobilize the SCCA and other car clubs to get a public facility built for the purpose of driver training (Teen Street Survival/Police training/driver improvement events, etc). The site could also add economic impact to the state by attracting regional and national autocross events.
- We need to figure how do add "content" to the local chapter meetings and attract the members that only show up to drive.
- Our continued success is dependent on attracting new blood to leadership roles.
- Bid for moving the SEDiv Convention to the SCR area for a change from every year at Jekyll Island.
- Create a National Racing event that would be profitable and reinforce the creative approach of the SCR.

Make SCR Solo more fun and less time consuming by eliminating the full day obligation aspect and split the day in two halves. Morning group would set-up and then either drive first half of morning and work second half of morning or vice-versa. After Morning session is complete, hold Morning Trophy Session, and then those participants can go home.
