This event consists of two events in the South Atlantic Road Racing Championship (SARRC) series. We're looking forward to a great turnout this year!
Note on PDX: The Southeast Division schedule shows a PDX in conjunction with this event. We regret to say that we weren't able to get the PDX worked into this year's schedule, but we do plan to host PDX sessions at future events. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hi everybody it is Thom again (Your Solo Director). We have been having some questions about the March event. I will let you know that we tentatively have a site and a date in mind. Unfortunately the date will have to be moved to Sunday 21 March, 2010, this is to accommodate the site we hope to have. So please mark your calendars for Sunday 21 March as the next SCR Autocross event. I will get back to you with the site information.
UPDATE: Please disregard this. We have just received word that Freestyle Music Park will be able to host our event as originally planned, on the original date (March 20). We're sorry for the back-and-forth on this one; this was a totally unexpected turn of events and we feel that the date confusion was worth it to provide you with the best possible site for this event.
UPDATE 2: Registration opens Friday 05 March, 2010 at midnight and will close 18 March, 2010 at midnight. If there are mistakes and problems I take full credit for them. (Please be gentle it was my first time)

Hi, I'd Like to introduce myself to those of you who may not yet know me. My name is Thom Mezzapelle and I am your 2010 SCR Solo Director.
I have to let you know that the autocross events scheduled for Summerville on January 30, 31, 2010 will not be able to be held on those dates. We will do our best to reschedule the location for later in the season.
I apologize for this change in schedule.
This means that at this time the next scheduled autocross event will be the March 20, 2010 event at an event that is yet to be announced. I will keep you informed as developments occur.

Final Results from the January 16th event at Freestyle Music Park are online. Our apologies for the delay.
Sorry for the late notice, but a water main broke near the Myrtle Square Mall, forcing utility crews to dig into the asphalt. This has caused us to have to move the autocross to Freestyle Music Park. (Thank you, thank you, thank you, FMP management and staff!!!)

The Awards Banquet registration deadline has been extended to Friday - but only for a limited number (30) of additional spaces. Get one while they last!
On Saturday, January 16, we'll be kicking off the 2010 SCR Solo season with an autocross at Myrtle Square Mall in Myrtle Beach, then following it up with our 2009 Annual Awards Banquet. All SCR members are welcome to attend the Awards Banquet. Families are welcome too!

SCR is now holding elections for the 2010 Board of Directors. Each Board member serves a one-year term, so everyone is up for re-election every year.
Anyone who is a current member of SCCA whose region of record is SCR ("South Carolina Region #79") may vote in this election. Online voting is available here:

Voting will close on January 15 at 11:59 PM. Election results will be announced at the SCR Annual Banquet on January 16.
