What is Autocross?
Autocross is the generic term for SCCA Solo II. Solo II is a competition event in which cars run a course made up of cones against the clock, and times are compared to determine the winner in each class. Solo II is considered a low speed event, and speeds do not generally break 70 mph for the fastest cars. Solo II is the entry level motor sport of the SCCA.

How expensive is it?
SCCA Autocrossing is very inexpensive. You can use your own car provided is passes a safety inspection, and entry fees are anywhere from $20-$30 for a single day event.
